A central concern of Paul is his Christology and what God has accomplishedin the Christ event (Ruemann, 1991:85). It's interesting when we get to the coming, and we look in the sixth seal, who is coming there? For him, Christ must always be ‘other’ (as the ‘counterlogos’) but always also concrete and corporate. Our theology is always immersed in our own moment of history with its questions, its problems, and grace. So there is a real conjecture (opinion without sufficient proof) that he would have died, and Jesus would be responsible for His mother; then, on the cross, asks John to take care of His mother.

Many of the articles will only cite the Scriptures so you will need to have a Bible or access to one, such as a personal copy or an online BIBLE. Shabir’s example provides evidence that the Gospel writers were not changing the picture of Christ in order to turn him into something that he was not.

(c) Christ’s resurrection was the cause of these three effects. This excellent volume explores the Christology of the New Testament from critical, historical, exegetical, and theological perspectives. Nonetheless, Jesus sharply disagrees with the objectors. He does the works of God, including creating (John 1:3; Col. 1:15-20), sustaining (Heb 1:3-4), saving (Matt 1:23), raising the dead (John 5:25); judging (John 5:27), sending the Spirit (a work assigned to the father as well; see John 14:26; 15:26), and building his church (Matt 16:18).
